Dear Cutler Farmhouse Followers,

Hi, I'm Nancy Cutler.  This is what I look like on the inside.  Yes, that is what I said, on the inside. I am a little girl.  My exterior is 65 years old but, I still feel like a little girl when I do projects, create, rearrange the house, garden, mow, and do crafts with my grand-babies. I hold such joy in my heart, especially when I plan projects.  I confess that not all of them get completed but the planning was more than fun. You would not believe what I can accomplish in my head.  {grin}

I think it is odd when people look at me like I am old, because clearly from this picture, I am not.  {smile} 

I come from a long line of strong women who refined the art of making something out of nothing.  The dress in this picture, for instance, was a partnership between our neighbor lady and my mom.  My mom sewed the dress and Mrs. Olson crocheted the collar. Knowing my mom, she didn't purchase much to make this dress. She re-purposed out of necessity.  I have a teacher from my school who still vividly remembers how my mom would always add those little touches to my outfits to make them stand out. As a side bar, this teacher taught for over 50 years.  She wears cute clothes and I want to be just like her when I grow up.  Yes she is still a little girl too. {more smiling}

I hope you enjoy stopping by for a little trip in the country.  Ya'll are welcome to poke around. I love to share our lifestyle with you.  I think we are the luckiest people on earth. If solitude were for sale, we would have plenty to sell. 

This blog is in development but I have plans to publish recipes from my grandma and my mom along with tons of farm photos. Thank you for stopping by. Oh, and a bit of re-purposing will go into this blog as well.  The apple doesn't fall far from the tree.
